Marina di Nettuno Located just an hour's drive from Rome, the small town of Nettuno is known for more than one reason. Given that its name comes from the name of the "god of the seas", it is not difficult to imagine that navigation and tourism play an important role in this part of the Italian west coast.
The marina that offers 800 berths makes it one of the largest in the region and gives the opportunity to stop for large and even very large yachts - up to 25 m in length and more.
The surroundings of Neptune seem strangely wild, even if the town is very close to the Italian capital.
This part of the coast offers many places to discover by sailing and is also the starting point for various yacht trips, and also an ideal place for day trips along the Italian west coast to the Tyrrhenian sea.
Nettuno is an excellent starting point to reach the
Pontine Islands, Ponza, Palmarola and Zannone which is only about 36 miles away.
