BELUGA is a proven explorer renowned for her diving and fishing capabilities along the East Coast of Australia and the South Pacific Islands. Well known for being the first superyacht to participate in the citizen science initiative, The Great Reef Census. BELUGA hosted marine biologists and scientists onboard a 200km passage from Lizard Island to Port Douglas to collect valuable data on the reef. In addition, BELUGA is an award-winning superyacht being crowned the inaugural Yacht of the Year title at the 2021 Ocean Awards, hosted by BOAT International and sponsored by Arksen, for her participation in Ocean conservation. BELUGA is an explorer-style motor yacht, custom-built by Moonen in 2006 and last refitted 2011. She was built as a go-anywhere yacht with a robust elegant style, a wide beam, and therefore unusually large volume for her length. BELUGA’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 5 staterooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins, 2 twin cabins and 2 pullman beds. She carries up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
